Once there was a world that was nothing but blue. Everything was a different shade of blue, even the world’s occupants were a blue. No one was happy, may of the creatures never open there eyes because the blue landscape was to depressing and same for them to take pleasure in viewing the world. They wondered if there was ever a time when there was a different look to the world, a world that had color and was pleasant to look at. Some of the creatures even tried to look for the lost colors but everyone eventually closed there eyes, never to look at the boring world again. None of the beings ever found a hint of other colors but one being was determined to find the long lost colors. She believed that there was more to this world than what was being seen. Everyone called her crazy and to just accept the fact that there is never going to be anything more than this blue. She wouldn’t listen and she wouldn’t let herself believe that there was just blue. She would travel the world looking for something other than the blue shades of color. One day when she was traveling she was lost in thought and wasn’t paying attention to her surroundings. She tripped and scrapped her knee. She stared at her knee in amazement and utter shock. There it was the thing she was looking for, for all those years. It was another color. She couldn’t believe her eyes. It was the most beautiful thing she’d ever seen. She wondered if everyone had this red liquid in them and how no one ever noticed it before. She sat there pondering what she was going to do next. This incident made her even more determined to find the other lost colors. She didn’t want to bring false hope to the people of the world so she decided to find the other colors first. After recovering from her shock and deciding her next course of action she stood up and almost fell back to the ground. The ground was a different color than the rest. It wasn’t blue but brown! She couldn’t believe her eyes. She found two colors in a matter of minutes. Know all she had to do was find out why these colors were here, or was it her imagination placing the colors there? The last thought gave her an idea. What if the colors were there but just covered up because no one had the imagination or gave a care about the colors anymore?! She looked at the tree and saw that the blue was melting away leaving behind the colors of a tree. She ran to the nearest village and told everyone of her discovery. Everyone just laughed at her and said that it was a ridiculous thought. She just was in just shock that no one believed her. How could she show them? How could she make them see? Just then a small young child walks up to her and tugs on her sleeve. The child wanted to see the colors she saw. The girl told her to open her eyes and imagine that the colors were there. The child did as she said and was amazed. The child looked up to the girl with excitement on her face. The girl was happy someone believed her and someone else could see the colors of the world. The young child then ran off and started to tell everyone that the girl could teach them to see the colors. The other children ran over to her asking her how she could see the colors. She told everyone one of them how and they were all amazed. The children went home to their parents and told them they could see the colors. The children convinced there parents to try it and then they to could see the colors. In a matter of a few days everyone was viewing the colors of the world. There was a perfect balance between the blue and all the other colors. Everyone was happy that the world was beautiful and interesting again. So, the once blue world is a world filled with the colors everyone forgot.
